7. After you are Admitted to TED, you will enroll in Internship Semesters. The field work will help you to develop an understanding of the knowledge, values, and experiential bases necessary to become an effective teacher Internship Semester I – EC-4 and 4-8 Students are assigned to schools for 3 half-days. Students are also taking courses. Internship II – EC-4 and 4-8 Students are normally assigned to the same school where they take responsibility for whole class instruction. Students are assigned for 3 full days while taking courses. NOTE: Secondary and All-Levels students participate in an Internship Semester where they are assigned to a school for 4.5 days and take an additional education course.
