What is Accelerated Science? This is a rigorous course blending content from current level material to upper level content. Purpose: Prepare students for advanced high school courses Classwork is based on science processing skills constructed through labs and investigations.

Syllabus: Need to Know Items College Prep Course Content is accelerated Grading reflects high school grading Students accountable for absences/missing work Studying outside of class is expected Classwork/Homework: 10 point scale however is not calculated in grade Used to measure understanding Labs & Projects 40% of quarter grade Comprehensive Quizzes & Tests 60% of quarter grade Semester Grade: Quarter 1/3 = 40% Quarter 2/4 = 40% Semester Exam = 20 %
