8 Social Media: Facebook Page Facebook Page : A social network that people use to interact with, or keep up with, the latest news from their friends or other entities that interest them. Target Audience: General Public Although there are several ATLAS Facebook groups, there is one only ATLAS Facebook PAGE! Our postings will contain info about future conferences, published papers, talks, relevant media coverage as well as the Outreach efforts from our colleagues in the 4 corners of the world. Frequency of posting suggested in normal periods will be about 4 per week. Interest can be measured by the number of LIKES of the page. PLEASE LIKE US! 9 Social Media: Twitter Twitter: A social network and microblogging service that enables users to send/read text-based posts of up to 140 characters, known as ‘tweets’. Organizations can publish short news blasts drawing their followers’ attention to their latest achievements and stirring interest in their ongoing work. We will tweet all news featured in any of our platforms: atlas.ch, blog, Facebook, YouTube, etc ATLAS Week - 11 Oct 2011S.
