2 Basic characteristics Technical characteristics of MKS-01СА1М fully satisfy the requirements of the Central bank of Russia instruction No.131-И dated 04.12.2007 “ABOUT ORDER OF DETECTION, TEMPORARY STORAGE, EXTINGUISHING AND DESTRUCTION OF MONETARY UNITS WITH RADIOACTIVE CONTAMINATION” The device is registered in the State Register of measuring Instruments under No. 33063-08. Type approval certificate for measuring instruments RU.C.38.002.A No. 31090. Awarded four Gold medals and diplomas at the International Exhibitions: "Metrology 2007, 2008", "LaboratoryExpo 2007", “MEASUREMENT2008", "International Technical Fair 2009” Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

3 MKS-01СА1М is a professional miniature radiation dosimeter with every second continuous specification of measurement results and visual display of current statistical error, as well as with vocalization and voice evaluation of the measurement results intended for: measurement of ambient dose equivalent rate of gamma - (X-ray) radiation; measurement of ambient dose equivalent of gamma - (X-ray) radiation; density measurement of beta-particles flux from contaminated surfaces; evaluation of density of alpha-particles flux search of ionizing radiation sources, control of radioactive contamination of units and their packages as well as rapid evaluation of radiation environment

4 Differential characteristics ease of use due to pocket size, the optimal algorithm for determination of radiation background, the presence of a large easily readable two-line alphanumeric LCD display with backlight and ease of management using just two feather-touch buttons; cyclic (with period of 1 minute) or instant (right after the user presses the control button) vocalization and voice evaluation of the measurement results for dose rate of gamma radiation, "NORMAL" - at a dose rate of 0.6 mSv / h, "WARNING" - from 0.6 up to 1, 2 mSv / h, "DANGER" – more than 1.2 mSv / h; sound ("clicks" - enabled by the user) and visual (flashing, "asterisk" on the display) signaling of the radiation intensity; Simultaneous indication of the result and the unit of measurement on the display (dose rates of gamma-radiation or beta- and alpha-flux density) and current statistical error in the confidence interval, of 0.95; Quick automatic change of device reading s at radiation intensity alteration; audible alarm at exceeding a dose threshold or a beta-particles flux density set by the user The device can be used by the personnel of nuclear power plants and radiation control services, MES (GO), the FSB, health and environmental organizations, construction workers, customs officers, transport employees, employees of rail and air stations, banks and other organizations solving the problem of finding and identifying the local radioactive sources or individual items contaminated with radioactive nuclides.. MKS-01SA1M radiation dosimeter allows for operational control of radiation environment and can be used as a search meter of dose rate of gamma (x-ray) emissions and as a radiometer of beta-and alpha- particles to search for contaminated items or sources of ionizing radiation, radiation contamination control of cargo and at railway stations, monetary units and packages, goods, food products, materials, etc.

11 Project of supply of radiation dosimeters to Sberbank of Russia Recognition and purchase of a large number of MKS-01SA1M dosimeter-radiometers by the Bank of Russia, "Sberbank of Russia“ JSC as well as by numerous commercial banks in 2008-2011 is explained by the fact that these devices are: firstly, the only radiation dosimeters, the technical specifications of which simultaneously satisfy both the requirements of the Central bank of Russia instruction No.131-И dated 04.12.2007 “ABOUT ORDER OF DETECTION, TEMPORARY STORAGE, EXTINGUISHING AND DESTRUCTION OF MONETARY UNITS WITH RADIOACTIVE CONTAMINATION” and the technical requirements of GOST17225-85 “Radiometers of surface contamination with alpha- and beta-active substances”; secondly, easy to operate due to the small measurement time, an optimal algorithm for determination of radiation background, small overall dimensions, vocalization of measurement results, the presence of easily readable large alphanumeric LCD display, ease of management and two-year calibration interval.
