Extra-Curricular Opportunities Get involved in student organizations Some suggestions: AITP (the Association for Information Technology Professionals) AITP APICS (the Association for Operations Management) Look for leadership and experience opportunities Note: no Business classes are scheduled for Wednesdays at 12:00-1:00, so plan on setting this time aside for organizational activities

8. Getting Registered Have your advisor sign your form (“blue sheet”) and give it to the SSC representative, who will return it to you before you leave here Determine the courses you need First, remedy deficiencies (per “blue sheet”); if necessary, see www.clt.astate.edu/advising/holds.htm www.clt.astate.edu/advising/holds.htm Typical load is 15 hours (requires about 45-60 hours per week) List 5-7 courses Wise to have Plan B (and Plan C and... ) Develop a tentative schedule Use worksheet (“NSO Registration Form”)  No more than 12 hours on MWF  No more than 9 hours on TTh Find the following information for each course  Course number & section (e.g., CIT 1503-001)  Call number (e.g., 61549)  Day/time (e.g., MWF 9:00-9:50 AM) If applicable, sign the four-year guarantee (refer to degree sequencing) Proceed to Computer Lab (LIB 149, across from Grad School) and register
