16 Administrative Data 16 Administrative Data – Brief Introduction are produced to collect data for administrative processes and to complete tasks of public institutions/organisations/establishments Advantages: individual information complete coverage of time important administrative questions are reliable to report statistics and longitudinal studies to create research data Disadvantages: depend on the administrative systems population changes in administrative systems make comparison difficult lower quality of less important administrative information
