Internet Browsers: Add-ons for Google Chrome
2
Browser Add-ons These are small programs that you choose to install inside your browser (therefore making it bigger) Similar to Apps on smartphones They add useful automation to some of the interactive work you do with a browser, e.g. shopping For example: Fill in a form with your name & address Check your spelling Translate from a foreign language Provide control over Javascript programs

Some useful add-ons Chrome – supplied by Google For add-ons go to the menu (top-right) and select 'Tools' then 'Extensions' Strangely, there isn't a Google Toolbar So you need to search for ones like: Autofill Forms British English Dictionary Translator Select 'Get more extensions' and search for the above. Google provide 'Translate' and Dictionary' which are similar to those components in Google Toolbar. But there isn't a good 'Autofill Forms'. I suggest you also install a version of 'AdBlock'.

Chrome also has 'Apps' When you s elect 'Get more extensions' you are taken to the 'Chrome Web Store'. As well as Extensions, you can search for 'Apps'. These are bigger add-ons and are placed on a separate web page for access. You need to have, or create, a 'Google Account' in order to do this.
