2. Chloe EmmaGlenda Once upon a time there were three mermaid friends named Glenda, Emma and Chloe who lived under the sea. They were the nicest mermaids around. They were nice to all the little fish and other sea creatures. One day, they were swimming in the sea when all of the sudden Brittney, the bully shark, and her sidekick Victoria came swimming in towards the food farm where all of the town’s gummy worms are grown.

3. “ Britney and Victoria are going toward the gummy worm farms!” said Emma. “They must be trying to take the gummy worms! What should we do?” said Chloe. “ We have to stop them!” whispered Glenda. “I have a plan! Come with me.”

4. Emma and Chloe followed Glenda while they swam to hide behind the beautiful columns of the Church. Glenda used her magical powers to translate her plan into Emma’s and Chloe’s mind. “ That’s genius!” said Emma. So they went along with the plan.

5. They snuck through the back door of the barn to lock the front door from the inside but it was too late. Glenda had to do fin to fin combat with Britney while Emma and Chloe fought Victoria with their tails. They fought to get the gummy worms and they fought hard!

6. After a while Glenda spoke up and said “You are disobeying Flounder The God and our sea council. King Neptune would be very disappointed!” Britney and Victoria didn’t care. They took all their gummy worms and swam away.

7. “Why are they so mean Glenda?” asked Emma. “ I don’t know,” Glenda answered. “ But we’re going to have to grow more gummy worms.” “Yes, but first we have to tell King Neptune what they have done,” said Chloe. “I will call his assistant,” said Emma. Emma took out her shell phone and called King Neptune’s assistant.

8. Once Emma explained the problem Emma listened to what Ms. Stacy had to say. Finally, she said “Well, thank you, Ms. Stacy, for your help.” Then she hung up. “ What did she say?” Asked Chloe. “She said we could go downtown to meet King Neptune.” Emma answered. “Well let’s get going!” Said Glenda. They began to swim downtown to meet King Neptune.

9. While they were swimming, they saw something very sad. “Wow, I had never noticed how poor merpeople can be in this area.” Chloe said. The poor merpeople were playing instruments out of garbage. “That’s so sad.” Said Glenda. “ Yeah.” Emma said. Glenda began to swim toward the poor people. She gave them some money because she felt so bad. They said, “Thank you,” in reply to the money. Glenda answered “You’re welcome.” And they were on their way again.

10. Once they entered the kingdom, and after they went through the front security, Ms. Stacy came to greet them. She took them to the King. They were walking down a great big hall of old weapons made by famous blacksmiths, along with paintings and pictures of the other kings and queens. “This is the Hall of Fish Fame.” Said Ms. Stacy. Once they went down the big hall, they entered the king’s office.

11. He was sitting at his desk writing on his sandpaper with shells. The girls waited for a minute while Ms. Stacy swam to tell him they were there. “Oh, sorry girls. I didn’t see you there. Sit, sit,” Neptune said. As the girls sat down, Neptune said that he was told that the gummy worms had been stolen and wondered what exactly happened.

12. Glenda explained. “Well, the three of us were swimming on our way home and Emma saw that Britney and Victoria were swimming by the gummy worm farm. She told us and I thought of a plan to stop them but by the time we got inside the barn it was too late. We had to try and fight them but the fight was too even. When I tried talking it out they took the gummy worms and swam away. We tried to follow them but they were too fast even for us.”

13. Right after Glenda finished, Ms. Stacy said, “The Police Dolphin Department caught Britney and Victoria and got the gummy worms back, King Neptune. Also Glenda, Chloe and Emma, Britney and Victoria would like to speak with you.” “We will be right out,” Emma said. At once all three girls said, “Bye now, King Neptune.” They waved and left.

14. Ms. Stacy led the three mermaids back down “The Hall of Fame” to where Britney and Victoria were waiting. “Hi Emma, Chloe and Glenda,” Britney said. “Britney, Victoria,” said Chloe. Both Britney and Chloe spoke in stern but soft voices. Britney spoke again. “We just want to say that we see what we did wrong and that we are sorry we didn’t listen when you tried to get us to cooperate.”

15. Next it was Victoria to speak. “We were just jealous that mermaids were thought of as more beautiful by humans. We’re sorry and we hope you will forgive us.” “We forgive you,” answered Glenda. “ We should go back and have a party!” “Yeah that’s a great idea!” Chloe said. So on they went to go celebrate a miraculous friendship just beginning and they swam off into the sunset.
