9. Methods for Checking for Plagiarism Make sure everything you create and produce is original and authentically made by you or used with permission! If you are specifically instructed to use and cite online sources or to quote texts, cite and quote sources correctly! Many teachers use online resources like Turnitin.com to check student work for plagiarism automatically (Turnitin will actually give a ‘percent authentic’ rating to student work, so, rest assured, even a little plagiarism will show up.
