3. Earthquake Kits Important for students to have supplies they need in case of a serious earthquake! Please have these in by the end of the first week.

4. Planners All students must record hmk from my class in Planner. I check every day. Please check your child’s planner and work to make sure assignment are completed. If student misses a day, I will post their HMK for all classes on the SHA website by 9:30 A.M.

5. Homework Spelling Math Social Studies workbooks Science? AR read for 30 min. Study for subject tests Students should have between 1-2 hrs. of HMK nightly, plus 30 min. AR

7. GradeLink Check frequently Set options to email you when a grade is entered GradeLink open September 28 You will get your user name and password in an envelope at this time. I will be checking to see if you have logged in.

8. Label Clothes Please take the time to label all of your child’s clothes, lunch pails, etc. Unclaimed clothes go to the Uniform Exchange room in KR. When I take unclaimed clothes over there… gone for good 

9. Fundraisers 8 th grade needs to raise money for: Gift Disneyland Disneyland Student Money Caps and Gowns Graduation Breakfast T-Shirts Diplomas

11. Service Hours 10 hours due each trimester Can complete hours early Volunteer activities (not get paid) count as Service Hours Try to participate in variety of activities to “fill your bucket” See Mrs. Carroll for Service Hours sheet

12. Coke Rewards Mrs. Roberts is entering Coke rewards to earn money for our school. She needs email addresses to enter more Coke rewards. She promises that you will not receive junk email if you giver her your email to use.

13. Celebrating Birthdays No parties Bring treat at the beginning of school and we will eat it at recess.
