2 What is Spring Carnival? Spring Carnival will replace Winter Workshop. Spring Carnival will take place on Friday April 11 th The entire Redwood Elementary will join us for a day of crafts, activities and fun! This truly is a magical day for the children of Redwood Elementary. Do you remember your experience with Winter Workshop? Together we can make this an amazing day!

3 After viewing this power point you will choose a first, second and third choice carnival workshop where you would like to spend the day and help the littles of Redwood!

4 Kindergarten Workshops Medieval Mask making with Ms. Nella and Mrs. Larson Relay races in the gym-helping scooter little kids around the gym. This is a favorite among our littles! Teachers: Mr. Cimolino and Ms. Butler Bring the children into a world of an interactive story and art project with Mrs. Oliphant and Ms. C-K

5 Bounce on in for a whole lot of fun with Mr. and Mrs. Anderson playing bean bag toss and other fun games. Jump into the world of Lady Bug girl with a story and a craft with Mrs. Fairall and Ms. Tichinin Buzz on over to create a buggy clothespin magnet craft with Mrs. Yeomans and Mrs. Fales

6 First Grade Carnival Workshops Let the force be with you in the Star Wars themed carnival game room with Mr. Carr and Mr. Brown. Help children learn by meeting animals in our very own Fort Bragg High School petting zoo with Mr. Wuoltee

7 Celebrate spring by helping littles write a book titled My Spring Picnic with Mrs. Duffy and Ms. Canning Get ready to run, jump and play in relay races with Mr. and Mrs. Kirkley

8 Ribbit, ribbit, help make origami frogs with Ms. Musgrove and Ms. Knott Enjoy some silly fun with Carla

9 Put on your lab coats and help littles become chemists mixing and creating labs with Mr. Hoch and Ms. Davis Get out your hammer and help build brightly colored bird houses with Mr. Costello and Ms. Mathews Second Grade Carnival Workshops

10 Help make children smile with a little paint- Facepainting with Mr. Rain and Mrs. Landry Join Mr. Skinner on a spring themed hay ride.

11 Find your inner Lorax and help Mr. Dow and Ms. Morse with the Thneed Race Plant starts in the garden with littles and help them learn to grow their own food with Petra, and the Americorp Staff (Moriah Oliphant and Antonio Renteria

12 Guides We will need 38 mature, responsible upper classmen to help guide the littles through the Spring Carnival. Mrs. Babcock will be the adult in charge of this group. The guides will walk to Redwood and march up the parade route with their littles.

13 Snack Snack for the Spring Carnival will be done out in the quad. Mr. Bell and Mrs. Fishman will be running the Snack rotation. If you are interested in interacting with all the children of Redwood this would be the perfect station for you. The helpers will be handing out snack to the littles and helping when needed. The Cheerleading squad will be performing during each snack rotation.

14 This is going to be a very memorable day for the students of Redwood Elementary as well as the students of FBHS. We hope you will take this day as a gift-pay attention to the smiles, the squeals of joy and the gasps of excitement. Remember what it was like to be little, carefree and silly. Embrace this day and this experience; you will be grateful that you did!
