11 Genius Hour Based on Google’s 20% policy
Will occur every Friday for 35 minutes Students will present project findings at the end of each semester

12 Project Lead the Way (PLTW)
Standards-based: science, math, technology, and English language arts Requires technology Will begin in the upcoming weeks

13 Homework Approximately 50 minutes of homework each night, PLUS 30 minutes of sustained reading. Homework given daily/weekly/biweekly. ALL assignments will be written into the planner. Students are responsible for tracking their work and planning ahead. Parents are expected to sign planner after student’s complete homework on a daily basis.

14 Weekly Behavior & Assignment Report
Completed every Friday by each student Reflects students classwork, behavior, habits, and homework completion To be signed by parents and returned by Monday morning Tracks late/missing work.
