4 How Has Volunteerism Changed Less volunteers in Canada Remaining volunteers have less time –Not true in Nova Scotia Concerns with liability continue to grow Responsibilities being increasingly downloaded to service organizations Governance accountabilities increasing Fund development increasingly important

5 How Have Volunteers Changed Volunteers want more specific experiences Volunteers don’t want to fund-raise Volunteers want to make a contribution Volunteers don’t want to go to meetings Volunteers will not work with toxic people or in toxic environments

6 Put The Work In Give up 10% of your budget OR Give up 10% of your people Which would you choose? Does this reflect what you do? Your day timer knows everything. If you care you showed up.
