I am a military BRAT but grew up in Mountain Home the majority of my childhood.
I attended North Elementary, Mountain Home High School, and Boise State University.

This year we will be focusing on building important life skills such as working hard and participating.
I’ll be using ClassDojo to give students feedback on these skills :)

20. Language Arts/Reading
The program we use is called the Imagine It! program.
There will weekly spelling tests as well as reading tests

21. Math
We use the Saxon math program. It is a spiral curriculum and we have tests every 5th lesson.

22. Homework
I do not assign nightly homework, but if your child does not finish their work in class it will come home to be completed and returned.
Missing work is due the next day.
There will be unit projects that range in 3-5 weeks long. My goal is for students to become life long learners through meaningful projects.
Additional reading and spelling practice are optional.

24. Absences
Missing work will be completed in class if only missing 1 or 2 days.
If your child is going to be gone more than 3 days please notify the office.
If you are going on vacation or going to be gone for an extended time I will have work ready ahead of time.
If students are absent on a test day I do not do make up tests, the test will be excused.

25. Tardiness School starts at 8:15 A.M.
Running late? Check in at the school office before coming to class.
