4 List of tools commonly found in woodshop: Miter Saw: to cut rough board to length Table Saw : To crosscut and rip boards to width and length Band Saw: to roughly cut pieces into shape www.HomeDepot.com www.HomeDepot.com Planer: to get board to right thickness Jointer: to square face and edges of board Drill Press: to cut precise holes into boards

5 You'll need a plane composition note book with graph paper When doing a project you need to write a step by step guide to project Leave no detail out of procedure even mistakes

6 Final project should incorporate all you have learned over the semester Teacher will give you several ideas on what you can build Ideas include: o Tool box o Hanging shelf o A coat hanger o etc.
