Your help with meet duties is as important as ever this year Format will stay the same as 2011 Legal marks can be attained throughout the season (From January 31 – April 29) Girls Seed meeting – April 29 Boys Seed meeting – April 30 Girls Trials – May 1 Boys Trials – May 2 Championships– May 5 Note the size of event fields and the automatic qualifying marks may be adjusted for 2012

6. 2012 CPS Track and Field Pre-season Meeting Presentation Miscellaneous If you are not a teacher, you should have some type of coaching certification – ASEP, etc. Always have an emergency kit available for all practices and competitions Charter Schools: Submit eligibility, will work to insert you into a section Register for Conference participation Group A and B register for the Indoor Meet Coaches’ Clinic – January 28 @ Morgan Park 9:00 – 3:00 Learn by Doing as well as lecture – come ready to workout New Coaches Orientation Meeting Submit accidents/injuries to IMPACT Refer to the Rules and Regulations for additional clarity Don’t transport students without the parent/principal consent as well as the $500,000 insurance liability.
