2 OVERVIEW Where the River Meets the Sea Our home is the famed Marlborough winegrowing region on New Zealand’s South Island. Established in 1994 in the Awatere Valley, our name comes from nearby Clifford Bay, the point where the Awatere River meets the cool waters of the Pacific Ocean. First Vines were planted in 1994 near Clifford Bay Fruit comes from estate vineyards and select, premium growers throughout Marlborough Wairau Valley fruit contributes tropical and vibrant fruit characters; Awatere Valley fruit provides higher acid levels and greater minerality All vineyards are certified sustainable
