2 Educational Activities Department l Overview l A total of 20 positions make up EAD l 3 new positions were approved for 2008 l 5 unexpected vacancies occurred at the conclusion of 2007 l We are currently in the process of filling 3 open positions l Many people in EAD serve cross functions

8 Pre-University Education l Carole Levy, Director, Educational Outreach (joined IEEE on 2 January 2008) l Yvonne Pelham, Education Outreach Program Manager, provides support for many of our portals l Jennifer Callow, Projects Administrator (joined IEEE on 11 February 2008)

9 Women in Engineering Committee l Keyana Tennant, Program Administrator l WIEC reports directly to the IEEE BoD l Operational implementation of WIEC activities are carried out in Educational Activities l WIE became part of Educational Activities in April 2007

10 University Education l Director, University Programs l New position l Currently interviewing candidates l Carolyn Solimine, Sr. Administrator, Accreditation Activities (US accreditation l Sadiq Mitchell, Education Program Manager, University Programs (will join IEEE on 25 February 2008)

11 Continuing Education l Marsha Eileen Fitzgerald, Certification Director– new position (Eileen joined IEEE on 11 February 2008) l Director, Continuing Education and eLearning- will be filled in 2008 l Product Manager, Continuing Education and eLearning– currently recruiting for this position l Jennifer McClain, Standards Education Program Manager, new position (Jennifer will join EA on 19 February). She will also contribute to content acquisitions for Expert Now
