The STC promulgates regulations establishing a uniform system of traffic control signals, devices, signs and markings for public highways. The STC has an Executive Director. The STC office processes all traffic regulatory matters investigated by DOT, in conjunction with DMV, DPS, and the Legal Traffic Authority of a municipality. Reports and recommendations are submitted to STC by DOT Bureau of Engineering and Highway Operations - Division of Traffic Engineering prior to the Commission meeting.
