Youtube basics A youtube account is free. It’s already linked to your gmail address if you have one. If not, to get an account you have to get a google (gmail) account – something@gmail.comsomething@gmail.com

Speak directly to the camera. Record dialogues. (native speakers, scripted dialogues) Have students make videos. Allow students to replay your message as many times as they need. Want to do transcription/translation exercises? Videos can be embedded in other web sites You can start a video blog
