2. Educational Activities in 2009 Continuing Education Continuing Education Portal: EAB initiated an effort to strategically focus continuing education across IEEE. As a first step, a portal has been launched that contains an inventory of online offerings across IEEE: http://www.ieee.org/web/education/prodev/index.html http://www.ieee.org/web/education/prodev/index.html IEEE Expert Now Objective is to develop a critical mass of continuing education modules in clusters in key content areas New authors and content partners are being added EAB is launching a professional certification program in biometrics EAB makes an effort to increase the number of members taking courses through the Education Partners Program 2
