Summary of Key Goals for 2009-2010 Clubs from Kickoff Meeting Communication – What’s the best way to communicate club meetings & events to the 2010’s and 2011’s? Reach out to other schools – Both in Emory University & greater-Atlanta schools Integration & Collaboration – Integrate 1 years and 1 st years better than this year – Collaborate with other clubs to merge interests & help everyone learn more Participation – Increase participation at club events, make them someone everyone wants to attend Help everyone get jobs – Involve alumni and local companies more frequently – Educate members on club’s industry and norms – Help international students learn to network better

Good Ideas from Brainstorming Session – How to Reach Club Goals Communication Reach out to other schools Integration & Collaboration Participation Help everyone get jobs XX Wine Club: organize international wine tasting festival XXX Wine Club: Work with clubs for wine tasting networking events XX BMBA: organize buses for driving to NBMBA conference in New Orleans XX GBA: coordinate internship summary book, ready for 1 st yrs in mid-August XXX GAMES & Entrepreneurship: magazine subscriptions for club members, share via magazine rack in Commons XX GBA: ‘Social’ buddy – phone call from a 2 nd year for all 1 yrs & 1 st yrs XX GBA: ‘Bring your Mentor to kegs’ day; more company-sponsored kegs XXX GAMES: Hollywood Stock Exchange; work with Finance club XX GWIB: ask companies with lots of alumni to sponsor GWIB events XX GWIB: get in touch with Emory’s Center for Women to collaborate on events XX Biz Tech: work with all clubs to co-sponsor events (Tech + Finance, Tech + …)
