The festival was received with an overwhelming positive response from trade, media and the general public, positioning it as the premier platform for Latin gastronomy and culture. 16 The Marquee Venue La Gran Plaza Hits NYC Seaport Streets In 2012, Gourmet Latino’s opening grand marquee event. La Gran Plaza, will take over the South Street Seaport In New York City. The Seaport is easily accessible by subway, car, ferry or bus. With its charming cobble stone streets, beautiful city views and an amazing central location, the Seaport will serve as a magical backdrop for La Gran Plaza, inspired in Latin America’s traditional market squares. A cultural marketplace and historical waterfront, located in the harbor of the dynamic Lower Manhattan. La Gran Plaza’s stations and tents will stand along Fulton, Water and Front streets, covering an area of over 28,000 Sq Ft. The festival will be of public access. Tickets will be purchased for festival consumption. A percentage of ticket sales will benefit one of our social partners. 13
