11 The Executive Branch and The Constitution The Constitution gives executive powers-to carry out laws-to a President. His assistant is the Vice President. Also assistance comes from his Cabinet group of advisors who help make policy He serves a 4 year term-unlimited originally. Requirements: 35 years old US citizen 14 years Natural Born Citizen-at least one parent citizen
