Culture shock Is feelings of anxiety, self-doubt, and isolation due to a mismatch between one’s cultural expectations and reality of the overseas assignment. Can be reduced by family sponsors and mentors that serve as cultural translators. Cross-cultural training Can take the form of any guided experience aimed at helping people live and work comfortably in another culture.
