4 Evaluation and Planning Ways to Help Clients Establish Career Plans –Let clients know realistic expectations for outcomes. –Help clients make reasonable action plans and teach the skills necessary for clients to do this. –Help the client plan goals that can be evaluated with objective criteria. –Help clients talk about their goals. –Systematically evaluate and assess progress toward goals. –Individualize the process for each client.
