Project HELM >Apparatus licensing transitioning to SPECTRA: >RADCOM shutdown – Friday 14 August >SPECTRA go-live – Wednesday 2 September >Broadcast Service licences (and associated apparatus licences) will transition to SPECTRA in early 2016 >Spectrum licensing transitioned to SPECTRA in April 2013: digital dividend auction & expiring spectrum licences reissue

Contingencies – SPECTRA >During the shutdown period, the ACMA will be conducting the final data migration, deploying the final code and making final checks and tests. >In the event that unacceptable system or performance issues are identified, contingencies include: >Extend the shutdown for a short period >Restart RADCOM and associated systems

Contingencies – Licensing >During the shutdown period, the ACMA will not be able to issue radiocommunications licences through either RADCOM or SPECTRA. >The ACMA will be able to manually issue licences if need be and will consider whether to do so if circumstances warrant >For example, there is an emergency or an urgent licensing requirement that could not have been anticipated. >Routine licence applications will not be processed during the shutdown period.
