How do we ensure that our homes are ready to be blessed by God?

Make your home God’s home
Joshua 24: “Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord…then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Fear the Lord Serve Him in sincerity and truth Put away false gods.

Make God’s Word Your Word
Psalm 19:7-9-- The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether.

Law of the Lord is perfect
Statutes are trustworthy Precepts are right Commands are radiant Fear is pure Decrees are firm

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Use Your Home For His Work
1 Peter 4:9 --Be hospitable to one another without complaint.

Hebrew 13:2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
