TV/Entertainment Menu Provides access to FREE Cable TV, Relaxation channel, Games and Internet Hollywood Movies can be purchased for $6.95 for 24 hours of viewing

Hollywood Movie List There are 25 – 30 movies on the system at a time and they are updated quarterly Movies are edited for content and language

Hollywood Movie Pricing Patients can purchase access to Hollywood Movies by using their credit card, a gift card, or calling the toll free support number

Play Games Menu A variety of Games are available including card games such as Solitaire

Internet Search Portal Internet can be accessed by requesting a wireless keyboard from the nurses station Internet filtering software is active to prevent patients from accessing inappropriate sites

Hospital Information Menu Provides links to several different areas of information about Vanderbilt Medical Center and it’s services

Health Education A-M Menu Provides on demand health education videos in 18 different categories with 100 + video titles

Health Education Cancer Menu Each category shows a listing of the video titles available

Living Beyond Cancer Video After clicking on a video title the patient is provided with a brief introduction and shown the video length

Patient/Guest Services Menu Provides additional information about the services the hospital provides for patients and guests

Request Services Menu Allows patients to directly contact departments regarding requests or needs

Housekeeping Services Request Upon selecting a service request the patient is given several options After submitting a request an alert is sent directly to the department via pager or email providing them with the request and room number

Patient Safety Menu Provides information on patient safety including a Hand Hygiene video from the Centers for Disease Control

Survey Question Allows the hospital to receive real-time feedback from the patient during their stay For any answer given that is less than desirable the Nurse Manager and Charge Nurse receive instant alerts A push message encouraging survey feedback is currently being sent to the patient at 24 and 72 hours after admit

Spanish Interface Main Menu Para Espanol button on the Main Menu allows for instant conversion of the interface into a Spanish format
