5. Rule Four Know how to properly use the safety equipment provided. Not knowing how to use the safety equipment can slow response to emergency situations. Therefore: Take the time to educate yourself on how to use the equipment.

6. Rule Five Always inform the instructor of any safety issues and accidents. The instructor is trained to respond to emergencies. Therefore: Always notify the instructor!
