ATR-FTIR spectra confirmed successful modification of lignin and its building up into polymeric network. The lignin or derivatives in St-DVB polymer make it more hydrophilic due to the presence of oxygen containing functionalities. TG-DTG-FTIR analyses proved that St-DVB modified with lignin or its derivatives possess better thermal stabilities than unmodified St-DVB. These features make the presented materials very interesting for application in chromatographic techniques. COST ACTION FP1105 San Sebastian 26-27 TH MAY 2015
