2. Pre-Qualification Only chapters that have qualified as Premier Chapters may participate in the Outstanding Chapter competition.

Pre-Qualification Premier Chapter Status Chapters that achieve an acceptance rate of at least 85 percent will be named Premier Chapters Chapters must have returned the Survey of Membership Acceptance & Chapter Promotional Activities by established deadline A certificate recognizing this accomplishment will be awarded to each Premier Chapter

17. Hints for Success What to submit: Supporting documents Submit multiple copies Copy of completed application form Show required criteria were met Show other criteria were utilized to promote BGS Photos (but not photos alone) – photos showing various BGS activities

Hints for Success Must have achieved at least 85% acceptance rate – Premier Chapter; declining acceptance rates not good If multiple years of nominations – show a new idea/activity Attend chapter officer training in last 2-3 years Award a scholarship, submit nominee for BA or Medallion, hold an EBL program – show BGS-supported activities are valued by your chapter
