1 End of the Year Scrapbook |

2 Expectations  Though we are finished with EOGs/Common Exams, we are still required to keep *structure* in our classroom.  Over the course of the next 5 days, we are going to complete your scrapbook for a CLASSWORK GRADE. To put it very simply, put forth the effort, get a 100%!  Each task is worth 5 points a piece, you will have 20 tasks, worth a maximum grade of 100 points! (There is an availability for extra credit!)

3 Task #1 Write your school name as an acrostic poem. The poem should describe your school year.

4 Task #2 Write a memory (from this school year) about every person in your class.

5 Task #3 Create an advertisement showcasing your school year. Excite next year’s students about all the things they might do!

6 Task #4 Design a comic strip depicting your favorite memory from the school year.

7 Task #5 If each of your classmates were animals, what type would they be, and why? (Be nice!)

8 Task #6 Make a school lunch menu. Include the worst school lunches you (or someone) had this year and the best school lunches you had this year.

9 Task #7 Write a list of “the mosts.” Example: The most hilarious thing that happened, The most challenging activity, etc.

10 Task #8 If you could change your school mascot to anything, what would you change it to and why? Draw a picture of your new mascot.

11 Task #9 Design journal covers for three subjects. The covers should include a wide variety of things you learned this year, project you did, activities you remember, etc.

12 Task #10 Describe how you have changed over the course of the year. Compare yourself at the beginning of the school year to now.

13 Task #11 Draw a portrait of a teacher you had this year, with thought bubbles and pictures surrounding him or her to describe all of the fantastic things you will remember about him/her.

14 Task #12 Remember the school year through your senses! Create a way to display how all of your five senses will remind you of this school year (Will the smell of freshly sharpened pencils remind you how you always lost your pencils, or will the taste of pizza remind you of how your class won a pizza party?)

15 Task #13 Make a Scrabble board of words that describe your school year. Be creative and include as many words as you can!

16 Task #14 Pretend that you’ve just written a novel about your school year. Design a cover for the book and write an engaging summary of the book that would go on the back to encourage others to pick up the book and read it.

17 Task #15 You have been chosen by Nintendo or XBox to design a video game about your class and school year. Make a list of games that you would feature. Describe what the video game would be like.

18 Task #16 You have been chosen by Nintendo or XBox to design a video game about your class and school year. Make a list of games that you would feature. Describe what the video game would be like.

19 Task #17 Construct a time line of your school year. Think back to all of the exciting activities you did, projects you completed, parties your class held, etc. Include as much as you can!

20 Task #18 Create a “thank you” card for your teacher and any other adults who work in your classroom. Be specific in why you are thanking them and consider their personality when designing the card.

21 Task #19 Design a crossword puzzle with the theme “My School Year.”

22 Task #20 Write the word “SCHOOL” in large bubble letters. Inside of the bubbles, draw pictures or write words that describe your year.

23 Task #21 Think about a candy bar or type of candy that would describe every student in your class. Explain why you chose each candy for each person.

24 Task #22 Make a poster that includes all the students in your class. Under each student’s name, write “Future ______” and fill in the blank with a career the person might have when they get older.

25 Task #23 Make a poster that includes all the students in your class. Under each student’s name, write “Future ______” and fill in the blank with a career the person might have when they get older.

26 Task #24 Write a letter that you and your classmates could open in 10 years. The letter should include specific details about your classroom, your classmates, your teacher, etc. so that you can remember it clearly after time has passed!

27 Task #25 What will you miss most about your classroom? Choose 5 things in your classroom you will miss and write a short note about how awesomely fantastic they are and why. The funnier, the better!
