5 Quote Analysis Why is this quote important?!?! 3 sentence min What does it reveal about a character? What does it reveal about the plot? How does it connect to the theme? Can you connect to it? Does it change the way you feel about a character/situation? Is it surprising?

6 Textual Evidence First, answer in your own words. Second, provide a specific scene to prove your answer true, Third, explain how the scene proves your answer true.

7 Title Significance Is the title significant? Yes, EXPLAIN! No, EXPLAIN and offer something better!!! THREE sentence minimum unless otherwise noted.

8 Genre Identification Use specific language from the notes Offer specific examples that connect to the notes. Comedy – Usually a happy ending. Actually explain why the ending is happy.

9 Quote Connection Spell everything CORRECTLY. Connect in detail. Answer three sentences (not including the quote) unless otherwise noted.
