2 CREATING AND SHARING KNOWLEDGE  Who should contribute to the CAUCE journal?  What kinds of articles and reports are of interest to readers of the journal?  How do articles and reports contribute to the practice of adult, on- line and continuing education?

4 JOURNAL OF PROFESSIONAL, ONLINE, AND CONTINUING EDUCATION  Much diversity in our field and a sustained interest in having an academic journal  Need to open the journal up to colleagues in the US and around the world  Inclusion of “online” given how frequently it is used for the delivery of our courses and programs  New editor team, new look and feel, continuous publication

MANUSCRIPT  What are the characteristics of an effective presentation?  What are the similarities and differences between a presentation and a manuscript for publication?  What are the organizational and personal challenges in preparing a manuscript?  How can these challenges be overcome?  What are the benefits of doing both a presentation and a manuscript?
