2 Department of Meteorology Maldives MALDIVES  Geographical location of the site: Latitude 6.78 0 N and longitude 73. 18 0 E and altitude: 2 m.  Corrosion rack mounted on 23rd of January 2008 at the Northeast end of Hanimaadhoo Island  Hanimaadhoo is located about about 300 km to the north of the capital city, Male’.

3 Department of Meteorology Maldives MALDIVES  Exposed materials : Iron, Zinc, Copper, Painted steel and Limestone  Exposed samplers :HNO 3, O 3, SO 2, NO 2 and Cylindrical Teflon for particulate measurement  Samplers are exposed for 2 months, and sent to IVL for analysis.
