If we consider digital pitching together with public voting as the most promising topic for the pilot action, it is important for the interested stakeholders to clarify IPR issues (university) and promotion (Chamber of Commerce) including rules for participation in public voting. Proposed topics for the InnoFun Working Groups! Public Voting: How to promote it. Legal issues Proposed topics for the InnoFun pilot actions! I suppose to do it on April. I also rely on the InnoFun intranet and web page What kind of support do you need from LP and project team? We will prepare Event for the evaluators of the projects=investment managers, and for those who prepare and set up evaluation criteria. We appreciated your participation there as well as on the discussion and explain to them the methodology and the principals of the operating.

Further Steps Our next steps will be: (March 2013 – September 2013) Technical Talks Follow-up –Within discussion table we will find out the way of collaboration the public and private funds. We will build on the conclusions from the Working Summit –Organising workshop with the discussion table Prepare RIP process in the region –NADSME is also participating on the creation of the SMEs Strategy, Innovation Strategy, etc. which are preparing at this period (up to year 2020). –We suggested the measurements, regarding the following: -providing education support for the business advisors who consequently will be trained the SMEs and public in order to increase their awareness – how are their funding opportunities for the inovative and business plans, ideas through the Funds (Venture Capital Funds) -dissemination of information to the public with using of various places (R&D institutions, SMEs, Universities..)

Meetings with the stakeholders to inform them about the future results of the Innofun Project, stakeholders were invited to the next meeting in Cyprus: they declared interest in participation What kind of support do you need from LP and project team? More specific information regarding the overall innovation funding process, as well as results. These can benefit Cyprus since many of the procedures are new and therefore is a more or less “experimental” situation in Cyprus

Further Steps Our next steps will be: (March 2013 – September 2013) Technical Talks Follow-up –Constantly informing them about the project’s results –Officially invite them to the next Innofun meeting in Cyprus to which they can interact with the project partners and exchange knowledge and experience. Concept for Pilot Action –What would you like to test within InnoFun? –New ways to push the academic entrepreneurships for new ideas in the market –Creation of a toolkit with the topic “How to learn the entrepreneur mindset” Prepare RIP process in the region –Ideas? –All stakeholders were very interested in participating in the Regional Implementation Plan

Digital tools to simplify applications - The actual benefit has to be clearly demonstrated before changing existing legislation, procedures, processes, infrastructure... Set up of a parallel working group to keep the stakeholders informed on the project and to share their experiences in the competition prizes What kind of support do you need from LP and project team? -Sharing experiences and mentoring in pitching culture -Some (serious) evaluations on the use of digital pitching and storytelling by government agencies that demonstrate the usefulness and impact.

Further Steps Our next steps will be: (March 2013 – September 2013) Technical Talks Follow-up –Further negotiations with ELY-Keskus on pilots for Product Track –Selection of pilot SMEs from Digipolis Incubator and making pitch videos for them Concept for Pilot Action –Making of pitch videos and developing cost-effective solutions for their production + delivery Prepare RIP process in the region –RIP process is in very good shape with the stakeholders. –We need to make the pilots first before we can make a more concrete RIP and present it to the stakeholders.

Further Steps Our next steps will be: (March 2013 – September 2013) Technical Talks –Keep already addressed stakeholders informed about project activities and outputs, mainly work done/process followed in other regions (technical talks, pilot actions, RIP…) as well as successful practices dealing with the use of innovative selection processes –Working on topics such as: Legal aspects (subsidy law, public procurement law, etc.) and current bureaucracy requirements - others’ experiences on how solve legal constraints; acceptance of these tools; IT requirements –Close contact in order to suggest and agree ways to improve the innovation funding programmes as well as to engage them for pilot lines –Contact with additional stakeholders Prepare RIP process in the region (Ideas?) –Selection of the “most interested” actor(s) and addressed programme(s) – get commitment –Joint definition of measures to be considered by the RIP –Joint identification and description of pilot actions –Support of experts, peer reviews, cross-RIP workshops –Elaborate a detailed schedule for development of actions –Formulate and disseminate experience and results in European regions

Stakeholders are totally convinced of the interest of using digital technology for storytelling and pitching. There is a couple of regional initiatives in PACA that were benchmarked during the workshop and the design of a digital storytelling platform and service is already started. Proposed topics for the InnoFun Working Groups! Design of the coaching service (content, form and target) for SME before video making Design of the video making service Presenting the service and the platform to SME Proposed topics for the InnoFun pilot actions! Making of at least 15 video pitches ‘Making of’ of the making of the movies Further main steps to intensify the cooperation with your stakeholders? Cooperation is already at a very good level and stakeholders are enthusiastic about the idea of pilot actions What kind of support do you need from LP and project team? Further Steps Our next steps will be: (March 2013 – September 2013) Technical Talks Follow-up –We are in the progress of setting-up our new entrepreneurial bootcamp (focus on storytelling / prototyping) –We will launch the opportunity identification workshops later this year (part of doctoral school programs) –University IOF / TTO are invited to participate & contribute –Regular meetings & pitch events to VCs Prepare RIP process in the region –Instead of writing guidelines to create fragmented initiatives, plan to scale-up / replicate our pilot programs and open-up in other locations or for other target audiences
