10 Focus area 2 – public private partnerships A new innovation fund (Renewal Fund) Triple helix research alliances between research, business and public sector (DCTI)

11 Focus area 3 – skills to SMEs Innovation Agent Center – an army of technology and development experts will knock the doors at 3000-5000 SMEs Innovation Assistants (”Knowledge worker”) Industrial PhD-scheme (”Research worker”) E-Business Innovation Center – a small army of ICT experts will visit cities all over Denmark to supervise small Business in ICT and eBusiness (10,000-15,000 enterprises)

12 Focus area 4 - risk capital to SMEs Better lending possibilities to SMEs (VF – Growth Fund) More venture capital to research and innovation incubators - research based start-ups

13 Focus area 5 – technological service to SMEs Enterprise driven Approved Technological Institutes (GTS-net) www.bedreinnovation.dk Development of the international activities of the GTS-net Goal: 27,000 enterprises shall annually buy knowledge or collaborate with GTS- institutes

14 Focus area 6 Collaboration between business and research: innovation vouchers, innovation networks and innovation consortia Nordic-German-Polish Cluster Excellence Initiative. Nothern European Cluster Alliance between 150 cluster and network organisations servicing more than 45,000 enterprises Increased Danish participation in international research and innovation programmes

15 Focus area 7- better exploitation of public research 1. New Matchfond 2. Proof-of-concept programme 3. Strategic Research and Innovation Platforms (SPIR) 4. Innovationsnetværk Denmark – fewer and larger cluster and network organisations with participation of all relevant public research institutions and universities
