Cultura/linguistic Diversity However, of the Caribbean is English speaking, 75% of the persons speaks Spanish or French. However, only 25% of the total population of the Caribbean is English speaking, 75% of the persons speaks Spanish or French. The question of languages in the Caribbean should not be underestimated: not be underestimated: 70% of the countries of the Caribbean have English as the main language, have English as the main language, 30% have Spanish, French or Deutsch
