Deuteronomy’s Theological Themes 2.REMEMBER Everything God has done – deliverance from Egypt, covenant at Sinai, provision in the wilderness is to be remembered annually in our festivals of worship – lest we forget

Deuteronomy’s Theological Themes 3.COVENANT Our life with God is one of covenant relationship – I will be your God, you will be my people. God is tenaciously loyal to this relationship and asks us to be loyal as well.

Deuteronomy’s Theological Themes 4.SHEMA Our faith response to God is to love God with all our heart, to fear and serve God with all that is within us, and to pattern all of our life after the character of this God of love.

Deuteronomy’s Theological Themes 5.LIFE God’s gift to us is LIFE – It is God who created life, redeemed life from bondage, cared for life in crisis, and invites us into shared life forever. CHOOSE LIFE!
