1. “The Three Wishes” Room 7 and the Reading Bus present The Animated Film “The Three Wishes” From the poem “Pearls tae the Grumphies” by Grace Banks

2. Three Wishes First we had to choose an enterprise name. We thought of names & we wrote them on the board. We voted for our favourite. We picked Lauren’s idea.

3. THREE WISHES LOGO  We all got to design a logo for our enterprise.  They were all very good.  Alex Smith’s design won!!!

4. Characters We all had to design characters for homework. Jordan’s idea won. Migy thought that the arms were too thin. The art and design group adapted the characters.

5. CHARACTERS’ VOICES We chose voices for the characters Alex Wilkinson is the voice of Jack Emma Douglas is the voice of Jack’s wife (Penny Less). Dylan Leslie is the voice of the Fairy.

6. Bogendreip The Artists  We collected different colours of plants.  We did some sketches with Kirsty.  We looked at the river.

7. Bogendreip THE BROADCASTING TEAM WE WERE RECORDED SOUNDS ON THE MIRANTZ. WE RECORED THE SOUND OF JACK’S FOOTPRINtS. WE ALSO WENT TO VISIT JACK’s OLD HOUSE

8. Broadcasting team We went to Bogendreip Video interviews with a real video camera We took video diaries We took photos of people working We added comments to the reading bus website

9. ART AND DESIGN TEAM We designed the characters We painted on acetates We cut out the leaves. We glued the background together.

10. Sound team We went to SHMU FM with Naomi and Grace. We sang when Naomi was playing the fiddle. We made a song with different instruments.

11. SOUND TEAM We learned six new songs. We recorded the “Diddly, diddlys.” The sound team auditioned for Jack,Jack’s wife(Penny Less)and the fairy

12. The Animating Team We animated the characters for the film We animated birds. We used the tablet to make them fly. We made the characters talk. We animated animals.

13. Radio Team First we moved teams We interviewed Naomi and people from the Reading Bus. We recorded sausages and we were going to be eating them. We had fun interviewing Migy.

14. People Who Helped Us Migy helped us to animate the characters. Naomi and Grace helped us keep the beat. Kirsty helped us with the artwork Richard and Murray helped the broadcasting, sound and filming

15. What we thought I liked it because at the start you hear me singing.Daniel I enjoyed going to SHMU FM and we recorded six songs. Taylor I enjoyed working with the tablet because it was fun. Tyler

16. More Thoughts... I loved doing the video interviews and holding the camera. Lewis I enjoyed working with all the adults. I thought going on the reading bus website was great because I got to put on blogs. I loved going down to SHMU FM to do some editing with Richard. It was an amazing week. Shona

17. More Thoughts It was fun because I learned a lot. I learned how to animate. Louise I liked it because it was fun. It was a great experience and the best bit was learning to animate. Billy
