8. War Begins July 28th, 1914
A/H (backed by Germany) declares war on Serbia
Russia (protector of Serbia) declares war on Germany
France enters war as a supporter of Russia
Germany declares war on Russia and two days later declares war on France

9. Germany invades Belgium
Great Britain (protector of Belgium) declares war on Germany
7. U.S. through all this remains - neutral
