3. Its the spring celebration in Egypt when families gather and go to the parks and have lunch together which is mostly salted fish and onions. During that day you can find all parks are crowded with families to celebrate this feast together.

4. The Egyptians celebrate Sham Enasim in April every year and most government offices, businesses, schools and other organizations are closed on Sam Enasim.

5. Most families take food, drinks, plates, cups and all what they need to spend the whole day in the park. Its a good chance for relatives to be with each other for one day.

6. Kids enjoy playing football, volleyball, dancing, singing and playing hide and seek and eat colored eggs. They like that day so much because its a break from school and a chance to refresh and have fun with their relatives.

7. The Ancient Egyptians are the first people who celebrated that day in Egypt, then the Coptic people and later it became a national holiday in the whole of Egypt.

9. Sham- Enasim was a spiritual and religious day for the Ancient Egyptian because they believed that its the beginning of the creation of the whole universe. It was called Shamo which means creation day. The husband used to start his day by giving a flower to his wife. They also used to gather around the great pyramid at 6pm and watch sunset and see the sun as a plat on the top of the Pyramid.
