Services and activities for members Online community Newsletter Regional groups Advanced education Homecoming events MM subscription Little usage, important database Most important medium; however, not very beautiful So far no acitivity in regional groups Discounts on MBA Programms; not very important for our members Established events (often the only direct contact with the network in a year); declining numbers of participants Important tool service for our members

Challenges Gaining new members  Higher awareness of AlumniUM during study times to overcome the bachelor/master issue Communication  What to communicate?  Which channels to use? Activities and services for Young Professionals Homecoming events  How to work against declining participant numbers

12 © AlumniUM e.V. AlumniUM e.V. Questions & Answers Questions from Jessica Runte: 1.Activities for alumni abroad? So far AlumniUM has no special activities for alumni abroad. 2.How to measure success? For the next years among other things my work will be measured by the “absorption ratio” (number of members who graduated in one year / number of graduates in one year). However, this might be a special measure for associations 3.Activities during the transition from student to alumni? So far we try to create as much awareness as possible during study times. Any other suggestions would be very important for us as well!
