1
How did you learn your 14 German words? I taught myself then I taught my dad which taught me as well.
2
I made a song out of the words in German. I also had my brother help so when he gets to this school it will help him.
3
Well, in lesson time when the teacher asks us to read our reading books, instead I practise the words. I also made a song to help me memorise the words and their meanings.
4
Keep going through them in my head and improvise a song.
5
Some words I already knew, so I concentrated on the hard ones I did not know.
6
I learnt the words by visualising them in my head.
7
I kept being tested and I tested myself. I looked at the words and tried to remember what they looked like.
8
I remembered these words by taking 3-4 words at a time and memorised them through repetition and gestures. After learning the 3-4 words, I asked my mum to test me on those in any order. After repeating this process I was able to recite these words from memory.
9
I learnt the words by getting them out when I had spare time.
10
To learn the German words, I sang them to the tune of a song and memorised them. I wrote on a piece of paper what the words sounded like. I wrote them down in the order they would fit into the tune of the song. I practised every day, singing it to my family and my friends on the phone.
11
I got my sister to read out the English then I say the German. I did this after reading the meanings then covering them up and saying them again and again. My sister gave me a test on them every night since we got the homework. She pointed out the ones I needed to work on. I needed to have a test every night because I remember things best when I repeat things.
12
How did you learn your 14 Spanish words? I used the look- cover- speak- check method I used at primary school
13
How did you learn your 14 German words? I looked at the sheet for a while nearly every day.
14
I looked at them for 10 minutes every day.
15
My Dad speaks German so he helped me a bit but otherwise I just said them over again.
16
I memorised the words by making myself some cards with German on one side and English on the other.
17
My mum said learn the first five so I learnt them and she kept testing me and I test her and every day she kept testing me until I learnt them all off by heart.
18
I made up sentences with the words in and I remembered some because they sound like English.
