2
My soul thou art immerged in sin, So deep that none can trace; Look to the ransom God decreed To clear the guilty race Why Should I Fear
3
Had I the guilt of all the world He’s able to forgive; Why should I fear? The debt is paid, If only I’d believe.
4
The atonement once made on the tree, Can balance many more Than all the sins of Adam's race, If number'd o'er and o'er.
5
Had I the guilt of all the world He’s able to forgive; Why should I fear? The debt is paid, If only I’d believe.
6
Romans 5 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation!
7
He paid the mighty sum and died For sinners yet unborn; From men, the works of his own hands, He suffer'd shame and scorn.
8
Had I the guilt of all the world He’s able to forgive; Why should I fear? The debt is paid, If only I’d believe.
10
Only Your Blood is Enough I am ashamed, conceived in sin, I’ve always been. Born in a world where Adam’s fall corrupts us.
11
Rooted is the seed of death in life’s first breath. The law demands a perfect heart, but I’m defiled in every part
12
For only Your blood is enough to cover my sin Only Your blood is enough to cover me
13
All this guilt disturbs my peace; I find no release. Who will save me from my crime? I’m helpless.
14
Behold, I fall before Your face in need of grace. So speak to me in a gentle voice, for in Your mercies I rejoice.
15
For only Your blood is enough to cover my sin Only Your blood is enough to cover me
16
Leader: Lord, create my heart anew People: Father, come and make us wise Leader: Only You are pure and true People: Lead us away from our demise
17
Leader: Lord, You are the remedy People: For only your blood can set us free
18
Together: For only your blood can set us free Only your blood can set us free
19
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones that you have broken rejoice. Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God! (Psalm 51:5-10 ESV)
20
No bleeding bird, no bleeding beast No hyssop branch, no priest, No running brook, no flood, no sea Can wash away this stain from me
21
