National Patient Safety Goals Introduction During this tutorial, you’ll assume the place of a clinician. You’ll be presented with several situations, which will require you to act using the proper National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs). This tutorial will help ensure that you understand the NPSGs and can properly apply them. Once you’ve completed this tutorial, you’ll excel during any Joint Commission accreditation visit. A good place to start this tutorial is the orientation, which will show you how to use all of the available functions.
