Extra-Curricular Resume Colleges want to know what the student does with his/her “free” time Should include all activities in which the student has participated since 9 th grade Needs to be organized and detailed SHOULD include academic achievements, honors/awards, leadership positions, sports/clubs/activities, community service, work experience COULD include college/career objectives, picture, or something that highlights personal style Student’s chance to shine- Don’t be afraid to brag Be creative

General Scholarships Complete list of all general scholarships that come through the guidance office List is updated weekly or biweekly throughout the school year. Types/amounts of awards vary. The more thorough the search, the better the chance for success. Listed on Naviance

NJ STARS I & II Criteria Changed Top 15% of graduating class Must maintain GPA of 3.25 Covers up to 18 credits per semester minimum of 12 credits See fact sheet for more information NJ STARS II $2,500 /yr. towards tuition at any public or private school

NCAA Eligibility Center The initial eligibility office for Division I or II athletics Eligibility is a separate issue from admission. 16 core course requirement with a sliding scale for core GPA and SAT/ACT scores.
