10. Contract HSE Management It’s all about the workflow The Local Contracts Modules (PNG, Indigenous) This system was initially designed to use Sole Source Contracts and normal tendered contracts. When the system was taken to PNG, Local Contract Modules were inserted into the system. These were to allow local people to apply for contracts with the mining companies. They were mainly schedule of rates contracts and worked very different to a normal tendered contract. Also, different workflow had to be enabled for PNG companies to allow us to classify the company based on who the shareholders and directors were.
