Physical and Chemical Changes, Indicator 1 Objective A- Investigate and describe what happens to the properties of materials when several materials are combined to make a mixture Objective B- Based on observations from investigations and video technology, describe what happens to the observable properties of materials when several materials are combined to make a new material Share data gathered and construct a reasonable explanation of the results This lesson should take approximately one hour to complete. Give the students a lot of motivation to look at the provided websites and the video because they are really helpful in teaching them about what chemical and physical changes are. If students are struggling with the concept, a demonstration can be shown to help them understand it better.
